GE Vernova secures contract to deliver turbines for Australian wind energy project

Sydney, Australia (December 23, 2025) – GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE: GEV) has finalized a contract with Aula Energy for the deployment of 42 6.1 MW–158m1 turbines at Australia’s Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm. The agreement encompasses turbine delivery, installation, and a comprehensive five-year service and maintenance plan. This order was recorded in the final quarter of 2025.

Previously, GE Vernova supplied 38 6 MW–164m turbines for Aula Energy’s Boulder Creek Wind Farm in Queensland, a 2024 project. These consecutive collaborations underscore GE Vernova’s sustained ability to deliver solutions for critical Australian clients.

With Carmody’s Hill, GE Vernova maintains its distinction as the sole wind turbine manufacturer to secure Australian wind projects annually from 2017 through 2025.

The Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm site lies approximately seven kilometers east of Georgetown in South Australia’s Mid-North region, located 180 km north of Adelaide.
