ABB elevates flow measurement capabilities through a significant update to the ProcessMaster FER620 flowmeter series, offering enhanced precision, durability, and operational efficiency for extreme environments and low-flow scenarios. The ProcessMaster FER620 integrates a durable, fully welded and hermetically sealed sensor that guarantees long-term reliability and performance in challenging settings including pumping stations, water abstraction sites, treatment facilities, distribution networks, and irrigation systems.

The ProcessMaster FER620 sensor design allows direct burial installation without requiring a chamber. The sensor maintains protection against continuous water submersion with an IP68 certification.

With a smaller bore diameter, the sensor measures flow rates from extremely low velocities up to 10 m/s, providing an extended turndown ratio. This ensures exceptional measurement accuracy in low-flow situations such as nighttime consumption patterns. Its 0xD/0xD installation configuration eliminates the need for straight pipe segments upstream or downstream, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.
