• ABB has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Framework Agreement with Bilfinger, a renowned international provider of industrial services. This partnership aims to deliver advanced instrumentation and digital solutions to the energy and process sectors.
• The collaboration is designed to address the operational efficiency needs of customers, including those engaged in the energy transition, such as hydrogen and CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) plants.
• The agreement between ABB and Bilfinger will leverage each company’s expertise. ABB brings a wide-ranging portfolio of innovative instrumentation and digital solutions, while Bilfinger contributes its extensive experience in both conventional and renewable energy, as well as its strong presence in the process industries.

The collaboration covers two primary areas:

Maintenance and Replacement Orders: Bilfinger manages maintenance contracts that involve instrumentation upgrades, spare parts orders, and the replacement of equipment and pipelines. ABB will supply essential instrumentation, including flowmeters, pressure, temperature, level sensors, transmitters, flow computers, and digital services.

New Greenfield and Brownfield Projects:

The two companies will jointly market solutions to address customer efficiency requirements in new projects across the energy (including hydrogen and CCUS) and process industries.
