The new Skills Hub provides a hands-on environment for engineers to develop expertise in industrial, power, and water utility applications, leveraging ABB’s state-of-the-art technologies.

To address these needs, ABB has introduced an advanced analytical training facility at its Stonehouse Service Training Center. This Skills Hub equips engineers with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to utilize ABB’s latest water quality measurement systems effectively.

The Skills Hub is designed with a fully operational system split into two focus areas:

1. ABB’s full suite of analyzers tailored for key power industry parameters.
2. A broad portfolio of water quality analyzers specifically for water and wastewater treatment applications.

The setup includes adaptable panels that can be reconfigured for various training needs. Engineers can practice commissioning, operating, and servicing

ABB’s analytical measurement devices. Training covers essential parameters such as pH/ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, silica, sodium, and chlorine. The system can also accommodate additional or alternative parameters based on training requirements.
